Our tourist transport will pick you up from your hotel to begin the journey to the Sacred Valley, enjoying beautiful Andean landscapes right from the start.
09:30 AM – Arrival at Moray:
We'll visit the archaeological site of Moray, known for its concentric circular terraces used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory. Your guide will explain its function, symbolism, and how the Incas managed different microclimates on each terrace level.
10:30 AM – Departure to Maras:
We continue our journey to the picturesque town of Maras, known for its colonial Andean-style houses and breathtaking views of the Chicon snow-capped mountain.
11:00 AM – Visit to the Maras Salt Mines:
We'll explore the famous natural salt complex, with over 3,000 functioning salt ponds that date back to pre-Inca times. You’ll learn about the traditional salt harvesting process and have time to take stunning photographs.
