04:30 – 05:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Cusco
Your day begins early with pickup from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco. You’ll meet your guide and group, then begin the scenic drive toward the south of Cusco.

05:00 – 07:30 AM – Drive to Cusipata – Breakfast Stop
Travel through picturesque valleys and small Andean towns during a comfortable drive of approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival in the town of Cusipata, you'll stop to enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the hike ahead.

07:30 – 08:00 AM – Drive to Trailhead (Chillihuani)
Continue the journey for about 30 minutes until you reach the starting point of the trek, located at an altitude of around 4,600 meters (15,000 ft).

08:00 – 10:00 AM – Hike to Rainbow Mountain
Begin your hike along a stunning trail surrounded by snow-capped mountains, colorful hills, and herds of alpacas. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours (depending on your pace) and ascends gradually toward the viewpoint at Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), located at 5,036 meters (16,522 ft).

10:00 – 10:30 AM – Time at the Summit
Once at the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Rainbow Mountain and the surrounding Andes. Take time for photos, rest, and soaking in the surreal colors of this natural marvel. Your guide will explain the geology and cultural significance of the site.

10:30 – 12:00 PM – Descent and Return Hike
Begin the hike back down to the trailhead, enjoying a different perspective of the landscape as you descend.

12:00 – 12:30 PM – Drive Back to Cusipata
Board the transport and return to the town of Cusipata.

12:30 – 13:30 PM – Lunch in Cusipata
Enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch featuring traditional Peruvian dishes.

13:30 – 16:00 PM – Drive Back to Cusco
Relax on the drive back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:00 to 5:00 PM. You’ll be dropped off near the city center or your hotel
